Quietness No matter where we are, in the bustling, traffic-ridden modern city, in the quiet countryside where dogs and chickens smell and smoke, or in the mountains with mountains and clouds, we all have a quiet heart in search of peace. In this troubled human world, "the silence of the mind" is like a distant and shining beacon that illuminates our deepest desire for peace and transcendence. In the early morning, when the first ray of sunlight penetrates the window, it gently drops on the face, as if it were the gentle touch of nature. At this time, the city was not fully awake, and the countryside was half asleep in the morning haze. We slowly opened our eyes from sleep, and in this brief moment, we have not yet been filled with the busy thoughts of the earth. In this moment, the mind seems to be in an empty state, with no regrets about the past, no worries about the future, only the pure lucidity of the present. This is the slight dawn of "the mind without self," which quietly rises on the horizon of the mind. As we get up and start a new day of life, the waves of the earth come rushing. The pressure of work, the trivia of life, and the subtleties of relationships are like a tight web that binds us tightly together. We were busy in it, and the peace in our hearts was gradually broken, and the consciousness of "I" became stronger. We strive and fight for "my" goals, "my" interests, "my"dignity. However, in the midst of all this noise and commotion, we occasionally stop, and on a tired afternoon or a quiet night, an unknown desire springs up deep within us - a desire to break free from this web called "the self" and find the lost peace. When we are in the arms of nature, it is as if we have stepped into a clear soil where the mind can live. Stepping into the lush forest, the soft falling leaves rustle underfoot, as if telling an ancient story. Through the layers of leaves, the sun shone down the dappled light and shadows like a dream puzzle. I heard the melodious cries of birds, which were mingled with the rustling of the breeze across the treetops in a wonderful natural rhythm. Here, there is no secular strife, no self-aggrandizement. We are just a part of nature, together with the trees, the flowers, the birds and the fish that swim in this harmonious world. We feel small, like a drop in the ocean, but because of this, our obsessions begin to loose, and the boundaries of "me" become blurred. In this peaceful forest, we learned that by letting go of our own obsessions, we can integrate into this vast landscape and find inner peace. Or come to the shores of the great sea, stand on the golden sands, and the sea breeze brings a salty smell to your face. In front of me was an endless sea. The waves were rushing, and the waves slapped the rocks on the shore, splashing layers of snow-white waves. All human pride and pride seem insignificant in the face of the sea. We gazed at the sea, and our worries were foaming away like a bubble by the waves. At this time, we are no longer the "me" surrounded by fame and fortune, but the souls who talk to the sea. We feel the inclusiveness and deepness of the sea, as if our own hearts have become infinite with it. In this Haitian, "I" is no longer an isolated individual, but a part of the universe connected to everything. This experience of being one with everything allows us to realize that the'soul without self' is not a distant reality, but a state of mind that can be touched by nature's revelation. However, true "soul silence" is not only achieved in nature away from the earth, but also depends on whether we can maintain inner peace in the chaos of worldly life. During busy work, when we are focused on the task at hand, unmoved by outside distractions, and doing every detail to the best of our ability, we enter a state of selflessness. We no longer dwell on personal gains and losses, but simply devote ourselves to the work itself. This focus makes us forget that we exist, but it also increases our self invisibly. In our interactions with others, when we can let go of our own prejudices and stubbornness, and listen to others' voices and feel their joys and sorrows with an inclusive and understanding heart, we break our own limitations. We no longer see others as tools to meet our own needs, but instead build genuine connections with others in an equal and respectful manner. In this connection, we feel warmth and harmony between people, and "I" is elevated in this selfless giving and acceptance. Meditation is a realm and a practice. It does not allow us to avoid reality negatively, but to face life in a more positive and open mind. It allows us to find inner anchors in a complex world and not be swayed by the winds and waves of the outside world. In this life journey of challenges and opportunities, may we all navigate through the waves of the earth with wisdom and compassion as oars, to the other side of the heart, where we find true peace and freedom.
